Dafna Tal Born in Israel, Dafna is a freelance photographer and writer. She studied photojournalism and documentary studies at The International Center of Photography in New York City (2006). 

Since 2003, Dafna is dividing her time between editorial and commercial work to documenting personal stories. 

Her work has been included in exhibitions around the world, including the solo exhibition "Fede: Un'interpretazione personale" in Rome. Her latest work, "Transparents", has been exhibited in the show "No Ladders to the stars" in Jerusalem this last October.

- Main object of the professional photography activity( max 5/6 lines ):
Living in an area where every society and nation has a very clear `truth`, my goal is not to show viewers another `truth` as I see it, but rather to have them re-examine their own reality, look at it more deeply and doubt what they consider to be as the absolute truth.

Implementing this goal as a photographer, it is important for me to provide a humanistic representation of the different societies of the conflict and to offer other views of the "other" which is not always present in the mainstream media. 

Another goal is to provide an alternative example of conflict transformation and peace-building, initiated by individuals or global organizations, offering the viewers an alternative future to the conflict that is perceive as inevitable.
